Len King

Len commenced work at 15 as a Bank Officer and after working at several different branches over 28 years resigned from the Bank’s Corporate Commercial lending area due to dissatisfaction with the Bank’s attitude towards its clients.

That was in 1994 and the result of this action saw Len starting from scratch, build a successful Tax & Accounting business currently with a Team of 8 and a client base in excess of 500.

It’s not a traditional practice per se because Len has seen the results of how a small business progresses as detailed in the book “E-myth” by Michael Gerber.

After reading the “E-myth” the dilemma was to continue to do things the same way, with the same result, or restructure the business so that all tasks/jobs have a process that no matter who does the work, the process is the same. By managing what & how people do things created 3 months of extra capacity for productive activities. Len’s office has been fully systemised and is as paperless as far as is practicable due to the nature of the industry.

Len is always looking to provide more ways of adding value for his clients, which has resulted in Len becoming a Red Day Coach. Innovative, as Len is the first WA based coach due to similarities/synergies in the Red Day philosophy and with what Len has been doing with his Accounting & Taxation clients. Len believes that the Red Day process can enhance what he already has been doing..

In addition, Len’s Accounting business provides specialised services for Property Investors, Taxation and his expertise in Investment & Business structures is well known, such that an Australia wide real estate group “Positive Real Estate “ has appointed Len’s Accounting business (Link Accounting) as the preferred Accounting firm to their W A based clients.

Len believes that SME’s (Small Medium Enterprises) are the back bone of the country and that is why he has no large corporate clients., Len prefers to look after the smaller business clients as they are more appreciative of the value of the professional advice provided by Link Accounting.

In becoming a Red day coach Len is able to offer a unique quality and value service because of his banking and Accounting backgrounds and is passionate about ensuring small business is successful so that the owners can enjoy their business and have the life they desire.

Len’s current tertiary qualifications are: Fellow Professional of The National Institute of Accountants: Fellow of The National Tax & Accountants Association.

Len currently works 4 days per week and has at least 6 weeks leave per year.

Len is based in Canning Vale (23 Km’s South of the City of Perth) and works with businesses from as far north as Wangarra WA and east to Airlie Beach in Qld and south to Busselton WA.
